Belargus’s “Gaudrets” is a pure Chenin Blanc from the schist slopes of Savennières, crafted in small volumes with meticulous vineyard and cellar care. The 2022 vintage combines precision, mineral drive, and textural depth, reflecting the appellation’s reputation for long-lived whites. Fermentation and ageing in oak casks bring added complexity, while preserving tension. As a limited-production wine, it represents a premium expression of Loire Chenin Blanc.
