The 2023 Harold is a charismatic and wild-spirited take on Mataro. Deeply coloured and intensely aromatic, it opens with dark cherry, earthy spice, clove, and dried herbs. The palate is dense yet agile, with chewy tannins, rustic texture, and savoury depth. A nod to the old world in structure, but unmistakably Barossan in fruit and personality. Harold is a wine of character — bold, textural, and built for food (and a bit of debate).
