From the steep slopes of Saint-Joseph, Bernard Gripa’s 2023 red captures the freshness and vibrancy of Syrah grown in granite soils. Hand-harvested grapes are vinified traditionally, with ageing in oak adding structure while preserving fruit purity. The result is a wine that balances bright red and black fruit with peppery spice and mineral undertones. Produced in moderate quantities, it offers excellent value as a classic expression of Saint-Joseph Syrah.
